Ellie and I had privilege to hunt with Howard Vincent, President of Pheasants Forever in 2014

Hunting dog pictures

Hunting dog pictures: For most of us, nothing shows others just really how proud we are of our dogs.

I admit that remembering a great hunting outing with my dog is through the means of capturing my best 4-legged friend posing with a limit of pheasants. I have more than enough and can almost recall that day’s details from each of those picture.

There is this one where my hunting buddy broke through some thin ice of a slough. Ellie and I managed our last birds of the day and to rub it in, made my buddy snap this picture from the seat of his truck in his skivvies with the heater on high. Sorry Garrett.

Ellie and I with out late season limit of North Dakota Pheasants

Ellie and I with our late season limit of North Dakota Pheasants. This is one of my favorite hunting dog pictures.

Ellie is my 11 year old lab who has been nothing but a delight to hunt over and share the off-season with as well. She’s been a great companion to my family as well. She has pointed and retrieved more roosters than I can even recall. We have even had the privilege in helping Pheasants Forever President, Howard Vincent get a couple birds on a 2-day hunting trip. I’m sure many others can brag about this but for me, it was pretty special.
